A Whirlwind District Sales Manager (DSM) is an outside sales position for one of the Metal Building Industry's most experienced companies. Due to its extremely large and unique product offering, the DSM's purpose is to maintain and grow existing customers, as well as call on prospective new business customers. The DSM's effectiveness is measured and graded by their ability to grow their territory organically, as well as achieve their annual sales growth goal. The DSM is responsible for maintaining high-level, strategic relationships with customers and prospects and serves as their trusted advisor through consultative and collaborative methods. Responsibilities Achieve sales and growth goals for your territory. Prospect for new customers to help grow your territory. Maintain a pipeline of prospects and work them through the sales cycle. Input CRM data in accordance with the CRM Process Guidelines as necessary. Adhere to the company’s values and deliver the Whirlwind brand promise. Qualifications Successful Pre-Engineered Metal Building sales experience. Ability to read, understand, and interpret Pre-Engineered Metal Building drawings.
