This 10-day opportunity offers 12-hour shifts with a mix of days and nights, requiring flexibility to cover gaps as needed. Responsibilities include ventilator management and, preferably, attending high-risk deliveries. Job Details Location: New York Start Date: Jan 2, 2026 LOA: 10 days Provider Type Needed: Neonatology Physician Assistant Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a); providers may be assigned to either day or night shifts based on coverage needs; flexibility is required Responsibilities and Duties Perform level 4 ventilator management for neonatal patients Attend and manage high-risk deliveries (preferred) Provide clinical care for neonates in accordance with hospital protocols Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adapt quickly to changes in shift assignments and patient needs Additional Information Current New York license required Board certification in Neonatology required Flexibility in shift assignment is non-negotiable Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
