Settlement Controls & Solutions, Senior Analyst

What does a great Settlement Controls & Solutions, Senior Analyst do?
As the Senior Analyst, you will analyze and reconcile all transactions made in the digital payments environment. You will perform proper auditing of operating cash and process controls and report findings and outages and exception.

What you will do:
  • Resolve transaction discrepancies between institutions, especially in Settlement of digital payments.
  • Daily reconciliation and analysis of daily bank data and incoming Wire and Zelle Settlement.
  • Monitor and analyze the reconciliation output as well as outgoing Settlement files.
  • Accurately provide daily Cash Projections and report changes throughout the day to funding positions to Treasury.
  • Work internally to process correcting entries to clients using automated tools as well as manual adjustments.
What you will need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of reconciliation and/or banking experience
  • General accounting knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access
  • 4+ years of reconciling General Ledger Transactions
  • 4+ years of reconciling Bank Statements
What would be great to have:
  • Knowledge of different card brands - VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with Data Analytics/Metrics
  • Experience describing complex systems and situations in business terms with no supervision
