Job Description: This position enables your passion to utilize the latest semiconductor technology to decrease customers' time-to-market and reducing SWaP-C, while bringing innovation at a critical time to a critical need to our warfighters and allies. You'll utilize your skills through direct engagement with customers and end-users influencing their designs, providing insight as to the extensive portfolio of products, SiPs, Modules and overall architecture expertise ADI offers in this rapidly growing and changing market. You'll have sensibilities towards new disruptive companies, technical approaches and Gov't labs where ADI will add value early in the design phase of projects/programs. Your combination of Aerospace and Defense market, and business experience coupled with a system engineering level understanding of electronic hardware designs for RADAR, Electronic Warfare (EW), Space and/or Communications will be put to the test. You'll build upon our leadership position providing insight and expertise regarding EW architecture designs in the market, communicating our capabilities and gaining feedback with respect to customer requirements. You'll clearly articulate findings with actionable tasks to move the customer engagement forward. You'll utilize your strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be highly motivated to drive actions and assignments to closure/hand-off, with our design team(s). This role will interact with both small and large defense contractors and will require a proven ability to effectively engage and work with various cultures. This role will work collaboratively with the internal Segment Marketing team, Sales and Technology Groups (TGs). Responsibilities: System Design and Development: Creating and co-developing EW systems architecture(s) to meet specific mission requirements. Requirements Analysis: Deriving and analyzing requirements to ensure systems meet operational needs. Integration and Testing: Overseeing the integration of EW systems and conducting thorough testing to validate performance. Technical Leadership: Providing technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams. System Upgrades and Modifications: Implementing upgrades and modifications to enhance system capabilities. Compliance and Standards: Ensuring systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Documentation: Maintaining detailed documentation of system designs, specifications, and test results. Collaboration: Working closely with other engineers, stakeholders, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnosing and resolving issues with EW systems and providing ongoing support. Requirements: Proven background in requirements creation, architecture design, proposals and implementation of Electronic Warfare payloads Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or another Technical Field (Experience may be used in lieu of education) 10+ years' experience in the defense, electronics, and/or semiconductor industries Experienced and networked within the EW defense community. Creating Packaged Semiconductor solutions for the Aerospace Industry Serving in the Military in Strategy, Aviation, RADAR, EW, Space or Engineering Design Space, Military or Aviation Hardware with a focus on electronic systems Sensibility to disruption currently underway in the defense industry and how to open doors to new/start-up companies as well as prime contractors. Ability to travel up to 10%-25% of the time. Familiarity with marketing tools (Power BI, MSD 365, PowerPoint, Market Analytic reports) Active TS/SCI security clearance Analog Devices is an equal opportunity employer. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors. This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
