Job Title: Controls Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Controls Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Columbus, OH. This role will be at the forefront of managing and delivering complex controls projects within the building automation industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading projects to successful completion, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to budget and timeline constraints.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of controls projects, ensuring they meet all scope, time, budget, and quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring projects align with their expectations.
- Manage and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
- Oversee financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and prepare comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the controls or building automation sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or project management certifications (e.g., PMP) are advantageous.
- Strong technical background in control systems, with expertise in HVAC controls, lighting controls, and security systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex projects effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and financial project oversight.
- Must be based in Columbus, OH, or willing to relocate. A solid and stable work history is preferred.
