60's Plus Dining Program Director

Madison Office

Inter-Lakes Community Action is seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as the 60's Plus Dining Program Director. This position offers the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our elderly population through our senior nutrition and "Meals On Wheels" program.

As the Program Director, you will oversee the administration of the 60's Plus Dining Program across 10 counties in eastern South Dakota, ensuring high-quality, nutritious meals to our community's seniors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise the development of the 60's Plus Dining Program.

Ensure compliance with the performance standards and other various federal and state regulations.

Assist in the preparation of the program budget. Administer the budget throughout the year.

Write grants for the 60's Plus Dining Program.

Devise and send out requests for proposals to caterers annually.

Monitor all kitchen sites to include food quality, equipment, sanitation, storage, documentation and personnel issues.

Oversee implementation of the cycle menu to ensure compliance.

Directly supervise the Administrative Site Manager, Site Managers, and Madison Kitchen staff and is responsible for all other employees in the 60's Plus Dining Program.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Business, or a related field is preferred

At least three years of experience in nutrition or related fields, with a strong background in budget management and supervision

Valid South Dakota Driver's License and record of safe driving.

Salary and Benefits:

$61,318.40 to $89,731.20 per year , commensurate with your education and experience. Our full-time, exempt position guarantees a 40-hour workweek with a comprehensive benefits package, including: Health, Life, Long Term Disability, Vision, and Dental Insurance, Generous Personal Paid Leave, starting at 2 weeks in the first year and increasing to 3 ½ weeks in the second year, and 13 Paid Holidays, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
