Brownfield Engineering Project Manager Wood is currently inviting expressions of interest for a Brownfield Engineering Project Manager for an offshore brownfield program of work, based out of Metairie, LA. We are a global engineering firm dedicated to providing innovative and sustainable solutions to our clients in the oil and gas industry. As we embark on a new offshore brownfield campaign based out of Metairie, LA, we are seeking a talented and experienced Brownfield Engineering Project Manager to join our team. The Brownfield Engineering PM will head our offshore brownfield campaign based in Metairie, LA. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the project, from planning and execution to monitoring and control, ensuring that project objectives are achieved safely, on time, and within budget. In addition to the oversight of engineering deliverables (construction work packs, engineering studies, regulatory & environmental reviews, asset management plans), a key success factor for the selected candidate will be the ability to efficiently manage communication with the client. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Lead a multidisciplinary project team, inclusive of global execution centers, providing direction, support, and guidance throughout all project phases. Establish clear communication channels and reporting mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed of project progress, issues, and milestones. Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project requirements and objectives. Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and implementing cost control measures as needed. Monitor project schedule and resource utilization, identifying potential delays, conflicts, or bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks. Conduct site visits as required to validate scope and clarify requirements as required. Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and presentations to foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and drive decision-making. Manage change requests, deviations, and variations from the project scope, assessing impacts on schedule, budget, and quality. Prepare and deliver progress reports, presentations, and documentation to clients, management, and other stakeholders. Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement among project team members. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent combination of qualifications and project management experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years exposure to offshore engineering and construction with brownfield projects. Strong understanding of engineering processes, including regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from initiation to closeout. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders. Experience working with cross-functional teams, global execution centers and managing subcontractors and vendors. Willingness to travel offshore and work in challenging environmental conditions as required.
