Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team at our Cincinnati office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial modeling and analysis, either from an industry Financial Analyst role or from a public accounting firm, preferably with experience in the Advisory division, though candidates with an Audit background are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to support strategic decision-making processes.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Prepare detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to assess potential impacts on the company's financial position.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior financial analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, and strategic planning.
  • Experience in industry as a Financial Analyst or from a public accounting firm (Advisory preferred, but Audit considered).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and investment analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
