Job Responsibilities:

Content Planning and Management:

  • Plan, create, manage, and schedule content for e-mail blasts, social media, LinkedIn, blog posts, and PR entries (including award entries, award rankings, and press releases).
  • Develop fresh, creative content, including photos and videos, to execute the companys vision across all mediums.
  • Utilize in-house tools to shoot photo and video content; collaborate with external photographers/videographers for professional content as needed.

SEO and Website Management:

  • Focus on website SEO by identifying keywords, uploading new product images weekly, and monitoring analytics to ensure high rankings.
  • Initiate and manage website tasks independently, or collaborate with in-house or remote web developers, graphic designers, and photographers when applicable.

Social Media Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) to maintain the companys vision and brand image.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries; track, measure, and analyze key metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth.

Email Campaigns:

  • Develop and execute email campaigns aimed at driving inbound leads and maintaining brand image.

Client Social Media Integration:

  • Oversee client social media to identify and repurpose relevant work produced by MRL for the companys marketing initiatives.

Industry Awards and Rankings:

  • Manage all monthly and quarterly entries and deadlines for industry awards and rankings, including submission preparation, case study formation, and ensuring the highest probability of winning.

Quarterly Lookbooks:

  • Execute quarterly company Lookbooks, including design and copy layout, researching new items and trends, item selection, image editing, curating themes and messaging, and organizing final product price sheets.

Annual Loyalty Gift Program:

  • Oversee and manage the annual loyalty gift program, including kit ideation, budget management, coordinating with the sales team for the drop ship list, and executing marketing content for social media and e-blasts.

Vendor List Management:

  • Update and maintain the companys preferred vendor lists.

File Management:

  • Organize all marketing content, directories, and files to ensure proper file management.

General Administrative Duties:

  • Handle phone calls, mail, and receipt of packages.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure accuracy in marketing campaign submissions, implementation, and quality assurance.

AI Tools Research and Implementation:

  • Research and implement recommended AI tools to enhance marketing strategy, resulting in increased efficiency and improvement within the department.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

Ability to work independently, take ownership of your work, and solve problems with a take-charge attitude and strong customer-centric mindset

  • A Bachelors degree in Marketing is preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing (content creation, SEO, blogging, social media management, website management)
  • Intermediate skills in Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Familiarity with graphic design platforms such as Canva and Adobe Spark, as well as social media scheduling tools like Later and Hootsuite
  • Comfortable with and familiar with technical web development terminology
  • Ability to initiate, manage, and communicate project expectations within a team
  • Proven success as a self-starter with previous marketing experience
  • Openness to constructive criticism and a willingness to improve
