Patient Care Coordinator

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to fill an opening with a Prosthetics and Orthotics clinic in Vista, CA.

Daily Responsibilities for Patient Care Coordinator:
  • Schedule patients, work prior authorization, review benefits, insurance verification, register patients, post payments, check in and check out
  • 4-5 clinicians and 2 administrators on site - each clinician sees about 8 patients per day
  • Patient volume 35-45 per day - very busy
  • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm/Onsite
Required Qualifications for Patient Care Coordinator:
  • 2+ years of medical front office exp check in in/out, insurance benefits, prior auths, verification
  • Must have HS Diploma or GED
  • Must have valid/active Driver's License
  • Must have computer skills

Preferred Qualifications for Patient Care Coordinator:
  • NextGen Experience
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
