Description-Full-time, 40-hours per week Patient Service Representative at Kirby Medical Group-Monticello. Provides front end patient and clinic support through insurance and demographic collection and verification, assists patients with documentation, performs appropriate appointment scheduling, documents patient-related phone calls in the EMR, and explains wait times and sets reasonable expectations for waiting patients. Will greet and register patients, collect co-pays, reconcile petty cash, relay messages, schedule return appointments, refer to ancillary services, file and assist with various office tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- Must be customer service focused.
- Computer skills a must.
- Excellent telephone skills required. Multi-tasking.
- Experience in a medical environment.
- Familiar with medical terminology preferred.
- Flexibility and willingness to do varied job assignments.
- 40 hours of PTO effective date of hire.
- Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance effective date of hire.
- Generous 401(k) match effective after 90 days.
- Bi-annual uniform allowance.
