The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, along with a proven track record of successfully implementing cybersecurity solutions for a variety of clients across different industries with the focus on the Operational Technology/Industrial Control Systems (OT/ICS). The OT/ICS Cybersecurity Engineering Consultant will be responsible for assessing clients' OT/ICS cybersecurity needs, developing customized security strategies and solutions, and providing expert guidance and support to ensure the protection of sensitive information and assets from cyber threats.Qualifications Requirements Include:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Higher Degree such as Masters or Ph.D (preferred, but not required)DoD approved 8570 Baseline IAM Level II professional certifications such as CISSP (or Associate), CISM, CASP+ CE, or equivalent are highly desirable.Proven experience working as a cybersecurity engineering specialist or consultant, with a minimum of 5 years in the field.In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, methodologies, and technologies.Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements such as NIST SP 800.Working knowledge of Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS) as defined in UFC 4-010-06.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and data.Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsDuties and Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments for clients to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance gaps for the ICS/SCADA OT systems.Analyze existing security measures and infrastructure to determine areas for improvement and optimization of the OT networks through compliance with appropriate security standardsDevelop customized cybersecurity strategies and solutions tailored to meet clients' specific needs and requirements.Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients on best practices for OT/ICS cybersecurity risk management and mitigation.Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of OT/ICS cybersecurity solutions.Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to continually enhance the effectiveness of security measures.This position is not eligible for sponsorship.Additional Information Why You Want To Work HereYou could choose to work anywhere, so why work at Coffman Engineers?
