Job Title: Tissue Technician

Job Description

As a Tissue Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties related to autopsy, surgical pathology, intraoperative consultations, and other studies including bone marrows and fine needle aspirations. You will prepare bodies for autopsies, perform dissections, and process pathology samples. Additionally, your role will involve gross examination and description of tissue specimens, preparing tissue for intraoperative consult, and managing specimen tracking and transportation. Maintenance of the morgue and cutting room, managing overdue reports, and communicating with patients and hospital staff are also key components of this role.
