Forklift Maintenance

**Position Title: Forklift Maintenance** **Reports to: Maintenance Leader** **Location: Winfield, KS** **Job Summary:** The Fork Lift Maintenance Technician will repair and maintain fork trucks, fork clamps, carts, lifts , AGV’s and the company vehicle fleet in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. **Job Duties:** + Must be able to repair and perform preventative maintenance on fork trucks, clamp trucks, electric carts, electronic lift devices such as scissor lifts and the company vehicle fleet. + Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to ensure the cost and down time of equipment is minimized. + Proficient in all safety and housekeeping requirements. + Perform other duties as required _ **Minimum Qualifications:** + Minimum of one-year stable and verifiable work history. + Must have a minimum of one year experience in auto mechanic or industrial equipment repair. + High school diploma/GED required. + Must possess basic math skills. + Must have working knowledge of hand and small power tools. + Must be able to maintain facility equipment individually, or with peer assistance to complete tasks effectively. + Must be a self-starter, motivated for change and improvement. + Must possess good communication skills to ensure that clear and concise information is communicated as required. + Must be able to document and implement work orders to track equipment issues and completed work assignments. + Must be able to multi-task. + Must be able to become certified on operating forklift, scissor lift snorkel lift and overhead crane. + Must be able to read basic blue prints, and follow repair instructions. · Must be able to read electrical print and schematics for troubleshooting purposes on Industrial Powered Trucks. · Must be able to use and understand functions of an electric multimeter. · Must possess general computer skills, outlook, excel, micromain.
