Join Children's Habilitation Center.....the most unique long-term care facility in the MidwestTitle: HousekeeperCompany: Children's Habilitation CenterWebsite: Compensation: $18.25 per hourClassification: Part Time; Non-ExemptReports to: Director of Environmental ServicesSupervisor Responsibilities: NoLocation: 121 W. 154th St in Harvey, ILShift: Varies depending on the needs of the facilityMany opportunities for overtime; longer hours periodically based on organizational needsPurpose: The Housekeeper maintains assigned areas according to established procedures.Responsibilities:High dust all main rooms and bathroomsSanitize and spot clean furniture, beds, walls, windows, ledges, doors, doorknobs, phones, water cooler, microwave, rails, miscellaneous items, etc.Clean bathrooms including sinks, tubs, hoppers, toilets, shower walls, and walls around sinksRestock paper supplies as neededEmpty and clean waste basketsDust mop and wet mop floors.As a floor technician, you use specialized equipment and stripping chemicals to clean, repair, and refinish floors. You can work for a cleaning service or as a member of the custodial staff at a public building, long-term care center, or similar facility.Participates in quality improvement activitiesQualifications:Floor tech experience requiredAbility to walk and stand for long periods of time Ability to pass criminal background check and drug testingExperience working with various socioeconomic populations is a plus.Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
