Summary:

AFL's Visitor Center / Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for providing service and support in our corporate headquarters' visitor center, serve as primary back-up to our Front Desk Administrative Assistant and handle physical mail distribution between AFL's facilities within the Duncan, SC area.

Responsibilities:
  • Support all function and logistics of the AFL Corporate Office Visitor Center, including scheduling of conference rooms, catering, meeting assistance (phone and audio visual equipment), supplies and expense reporting
  • Provide prompt and courteous response to customer and visitor center requests, including timely responses by phone, emails or teams
  • Serve as primary/daily back-up to the Administrative Assistant at AFL's corporate office front desk. Includes greeting and registering visitors, answering main switchboard and physical mail distribution
  • Compile, organize, and analyze data for use in reports for various executive leaders
  • Support various administrative database and record management systems
  • Handle physical mail delivery between all local AFL locations in Duncan, SC (10 mile travel radius)
  • Perform other administrative duties that support executive leadership

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma Required plus two years of professional, administrative work experience required
  • Associate's Degree Preferred
  • Previous Visitor Center or Hospitality work experience Preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Local Travel Required - Good Driving Record
