Job Name : Drivetrain Engineer Required skills : Drivetrain/Geartrain Location : Tucson, AZ Job Description **Responsibilities:**

Position will support hydraulic mining shovel drivetrain and platform team. Effectively managing multiple projects, improve gearboxes in HMS machines. Developing concepts, tolerance stack-up analysis, completing DFMEAs, work with suppliers and implementing drawing changes

**Typical Day:**

Managing projects 20%, drawing changes and Teamcenter work 30%, modeling 20%, analysis/spreadsheet work 30%. Mostly independent work with some time in team collaboration in a meeting environment.

**Education Requirement:**

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.

**Technical Skills Required:**

Experience in drivetrain design including gearing, splines, seals, bearings, brakes, etc.

Experience in gearbox specification, design and/or evaluation for off highway equipment.

Experience utilizing CREO and Teamcenter software required.

Romax strongly preferred.

**Soft Skills Required:**

Excellent communication skills. Teamwork and ability to collaborate. Ability to work independently. **Work Experience**
