Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Vision/Direction setting by creating the culture needed to carry out the strategic objectives and organizational goals related to Quality Service.Planning/Organizing the strategic plans for improving quality and service within the organization.Decision making and problem solving in concert with the organization's mission and values.Participates in budgeting process as well as ensuring monthly financial targets are met.Leading and influencing others by example in accordance with the mission.Maintain strong communication within and outside of the department and organization.Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service/care appropriate to the age of the patients served.Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, the Compliance Accountability Program, Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures.Designs and implements standardized clinical policies and procedures, operating systems and workloads to facilitate/improve productivity of nursing staff.Supervises (hires, orients, trains, evaluates, disciplines) all nursing personnel.Coordinates and schedules nursing staff appropriately in conjunction with the providers on a weekly basis.Monitors equipment used in patient care to ensure a safe working environment.Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies, licensing boards and RHC regulations and standards.Provides assistance as needed in the full scope of nursing duties and assists with patient education/instruction.Promotes personal and staff professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations.In conjunction with the physicians and Clinic Director, ensures that an appropriate working and patient care environment is maintained.Conducts yearly inventory process.Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information pertaining to clients, physicians, and employees.Monitors staff time cards and submits timely for payroll processing.Ensures sufficient supplies are ordered and maintained for efficient operations of the clinic.Demonstrates general working knowledge of computers and department specific software (i.e. word, excel, internet, IRIS, Clinic and Hospital EMR/EHR, etc.)Is knowledgeable of and actively participates in improving patient safety and reducing risk to patients.Complies with Safety and Infection Control Policies and Procedures.Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety and specific job-related hazards.Follows the Hospital Exposure Control Plans/Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens.Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.Adjusts medical staffing based on patient volumes.Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter- and intra- departmentally to facilitate the department's/unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives.Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assigned.Professional Requirements:Complete annual education requirements.Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.Report to work on time and as scheduled.Wear identification while on duty.Maintain regulatory requirements, including all state, federal and local regulations.Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.Comply with all organizational policies.Conduct oneself as a professional in accordance with PRIDE values.Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.Attend/Lead regular staff meetings and in-services.Job Requirements:Current Iowa Registered Nurse Licensure.Requires a minimum of three to five years pervious nursing experience.Prior clinic experience preferred.Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Must have general working knowledge of computers and department specific software (i.e. word, excel, bed tracking, internet, med aide, etc.).Organizational/Core Competencies:Exceed QualityExceed Customer ExpectationsGrow Team MembersIncrease Market ShareExceed Budget ExpectationStrengthen, Build, and Leverage Community Relationships
