This location does not offer railroad retirement.

Yard tractor/UTR is equipped with a dash-mounted gear selector; right accelerator foot pedal and left brake pedal.

The dashboard is equipped with running light buttons. Must be able to turn head toward the rear when in reverse.

Must wear a seatbelt at all times and proper PPE.

No cell phone use at any time while operating equipment

YARD TRACTOR

Completes visual safety inspection of Yard Tractor and reports any damages or needed repairs to head mechanic.

Climbs steps to reach chassis platform to bend at the waist to attach Glad Hands cables to chassis.

Hooks and unhooks safety chains possibly on mafi trailers.

Obtains instructions from Superintendent and Clerks regarding the work plan.

Verbally communicates as needed.

TWIC Card is Required

Required Safety Gear must be worn at all times to include: Safety vest, safety glasses, steeled-toe shoes, and hard hats must be worn on the terminal or in the yard.
