The 155-bed facility is located in West Haverstraw in the scenic lower Hudson Valley, making it accessible to patients from the New York metro area and beyond.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) based in Haverstraw, NY. The CNA will provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility. Responsibilities include monitoring patient well-being, reporting any changes to the nursing team, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring patients' comfort and dignity at all times. Collaboration with health professionals and effective communication with patients and families are essential aspects of the role.QualificationsCertified Nursing Assistant certification and relevant licensure in New YorkExperience providing direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and mobilityStrong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse patients, families, and healthcare teamsObservational skills for monitoring patient health and reporting changes promptlyKnowledge of infection control practices and basic medical terminologyCommitment to maintaining patient dignity and providing compassionate carePrevious experience in rehabilitation, acute care, or similar settings is a plus
