Piper Companies is looking for a Site Security Officer to join a government contractor in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This role requires the candidate to report onsite and have an active Top Secret Clearance Essential Duties of the Site Security Officer: Ensure compliance with DoD, Federal, and Intelligence Community regulations that govern the critical security disciplines of both NISP/NISPOM and SCI classified contract-related security support Develop and maintain comprehensive security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manage the information systems security program, document control, visit requests and physical security Submit clearances to SMO via JPAS/DISS Conduct internal inspections of PM Open Storage and Secured Facilities Qualifications of the Site Security Officer: BA/BS from an accredited college or university and 6 years' experience as a Security Specialist, Personnel Security Specialist, and/or Physical Security Specialist within the DOD environment Strong working knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD personnel and information security regulations Must possess expert knowledge of Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), e-FCL, ISFD, ACAVS, and other security systems Must have experience with Program Protection Plans including but not limited to: Continuity of Operations Plan and Business Impact Analysis for Mission Essential Functions, OPSEC plan, Policy for conduct of OCONUS travel threat briefings Compensation for the Site Security Officer: $120,000 - $140,000 (based on experience) Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, paid holidays, sick Leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 5/28/25.
