Northvolt Poland is now looking for a

Functional Safety Engineer

to join our Engineering team in Gdansk

By joining our team, you will be able to develop your engineering skills by participating in projects from requirements to deployment in a multidisciplinary R&D team. You'll gain experience in product development for fast growing industry of electromobility and energy storage, and share your passion for engineering with team of professionals with experience from various fields of expertise. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Develop safety concepts and strategies to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Analyze system architectures and define safety requirements.

Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 26262 throughout the product safety lifecycle.

Collaborate with development teams to implement safety measures and conduct design reviews.

Define validation and test cases based on Functional Safety requirements.

We believe that you have:

Degree in Engineering or related field.

Experience in functional safety certification activities within the automotive or industrial market.

Familiarity with safety standards such as ISO 26262 and relevant methodologies.

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Additional qualifications (nice to have):
