Our Client a leading consumer product company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the company. The role will work directly with the Controller and the CFO. The company offers an opportunity for advancement, solid benefits and a healthy bonus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and year end basis
  • Prepare journal entries and assist with the month-end and year-end closings
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for management
  • Assist in analyzing inventory variances and trends
  • Assist in the preparation of expense budgets and budget versus actual variance analysis.
  • Review daily bank activity for accuracy
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly bank reconciliations
  • Analyze gross profit reports for monthly reporting package
  • Assist with year-end certified audit requirements by investigating and resolving audit findings
  • Prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax returns
  • Assist with additional analysis, tasks and special projects as needed


Qualifications Include:
•A Bachelor's degree in Accounting along with 5+ years of relevant experience
•Experience in wholesale, distribution, or manufacturing strongly preferred
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi task
•ERP and Strong MS Excel
