Physician Assistant | Urgent Care Location: Fayetteville, NC Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Exciting Opportunity for Healthcare Professionals: Physician Assistant - Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care Join our dynamic healthcare team and make a meaningful impact in the Fayetteville, NC community. We are seeking dedicated Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to provide exceptional urgent care services in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. This role offers the chance to operate as the primary provider in urgent care settings, delivering comprehensive care to diverse patient populations ranging from infants to adults. Key Responsibilities: Provide urgent care services independently in a busy center, managing both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up). Perform minor procedures including I&D, lac repair, ear irrigation, and others. Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR with required training. Collaborate with support staff, including center managers, medical assistants, and supervising physicians. Maintain compliance with board certifications and licensure requirements. Required Skills: Minimum of 12 months of urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine experience. Board certification: NCCPA, PA Cert, Family NP Cert. Proficiency with Epic EMR system. Valid BLS certification. Strong soft skills for patient interactions and teamwork. Ability to work independently as the sole provider. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with pediatric and adult urgent care. Skilled in minor procedures such as I&D, lac repair, and ear irrigation. Ability to support multiple locations within a 65-mile radius. Familiarity with Medicare enrollment processes. Preferred Education and Experience: Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with at least 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care or emergency settings. Experience working with Epic EMR. Other Requirements: Must be able to attend clinical interviews, complete EMR training, and operate independently without supervision. No travel reimbursement; mileage support available. Candidates must meet all licensing, certification, and immunization requirements prior to starting.
