The Pine View Buildings Finance Team's mission is to improve the company operationally and financially by working with operations to control costs and improve processes. The team is currently focused on setting up strong, sustainable processes to support the growth of Pine View and launching a new division. In our next stage, we will grow with the business, ensuring sustainable growth and rising to scaling challenges. We are looking for a Manufacturing Cost Controller who is a strong and enthusiastic addition to our team; capable of working independently and collaboratively in an environment that welcomes new ideas to improve the processes and efficiency of the department.

Job Description

  • Lead, manage and hold accountable the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments.
  • Propose and build cost controlling strategies from the bottom up, embrace the "blank sheet" with regard cost management and control.
  • Sharply and accurately identify cost risks and opportunities; and drive alignment around operational and financial actions to either minimize or mitigate risks.
  • Ensuring a high level of posting and closing quality in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to be prepared, taking into account all relevant accounting standards and internal group requirements.
  • Achieve real time monthly closing without compromising accounting quality and accuracy - including accruals, cost center and cost unit accounting. Running variance analysis of performance, and preparation of management reports.
  • Reconciliation of in-house systems and work towards full alignment, building visualization reporting and analysis - improve efficiency and presentation of data retrieved from internal systems.
  • Consider United States GAAP requirements across all manufacturing related costs.
  • Support the entire Finance team, taking on individual areas of responsibility as needed.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional financial accounting or auditing experience in the Manufacturing industry.
  • Academic degree in Finance/Business Administration, Data Analysis/Mining or comparable experience.
  • Skilled in Excel, BI, ERP systems, SQL.
  • Enjoy solving advanced Excel modelling challenges and have experience in Income Statement and Balance sheet presentations and analysis.
  • Be able to lead projects to implement new initiatives and processes in the Finance department, working closely with leaders of other departments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Hands-on mentality and willing to get your hands dirty.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and execute tasks whilst under pressure.
  • Acumatica and Power BI experience a plus.
  • Flexible and able to change priorities and deadlines as needed to accommodate the goals of the business.
