As a Senior Tax Associate, you will play a crucial role in the Finance Department by assisting with federal and state tax compliance, quarterly and annual tax provision preparation, tax research, and other tax-related projects. You will work closely with the other members of the tax department and the broader accounting organization. In this role as a Senior Tax Associate, you will: Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end ASC 740 tax provision computations and documentation. Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and international income tax compliance, including preparation of extensions and estimated tax payments. Assist with tax purchase accounting, acquisition integration, and other tax projects that arise during the course of business. Prepare and review sundry tax filings for the business, including excise tax filings, property tax returns, and various business license filings. Research and respond to sales tax questions submitted by internal and external customers. Support the sales tax function, ensuring that sales tax permits remain current. Maintain and reconcile tax depreciation and amortization schedules. Research and resolve tax notices received from various jurisdictions. As needed, conduct tax research on other issues and share findings with the tax department and other members of the organization. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations. Utilize accounting and tax software, including NetSuite, Floqast, OneSource, Vertex, and Microsoft Office products. Ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment. Communicate effectively with team members and Renaissance clients to provide exceptional service and support. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the tax department. For this role as a Senior Tax Accountant, you should have: Working knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code and Regulations in addition to US GAAP Minimum of two years of experience in public accounting Corporate tax experience utilizing knowledge of ASC 740 and US GAAP Proficient with Microsoft Excel Experience with OneSource Tax Provision/OneSource Income Tax software preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying current with tax laws Bonus Points for: Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
