Managing team to ensure projects are implemented in accordance with timeline and budget. Attending site surveys and site meetings to coordinate with contractors and agencies. Liaising with Local Authority on required permits and building management. Carrying out engineering planning (both pipeline and cable network) to support infrastructure projects. Managing contractors to ensure work is appropriately scheduled and carried out to meet customers’ requirements, including monitoring of daily schedules and actual work for cable pulling and terminations. Coordinating with various stakeholders (contractors, customers, and service partners) to deliver service on time. Tracking and analyzing the performance of fibre and pipe contractors in accordance with the penalty and incentive framework and taking appropriate actions if performance does not meet the expected targets. Managing budget for Operating Expenditure and Capital Expenditure for the department. Continuously monitoring to ensure prudence in expenditure. Implementing initiatives, new automation processes to reduce manual work (e.g., via RPA) and improve customer experience. Attending to emergency cable breakdowns during and after office hours. Skills for Success: Degree in Engineering in any discipline. Diploma in Engineering with more than 5 years of related working experience. Fresh graduates are welcome. Project, contractor, and stakeholder management. Able to communicate well with all levels of people. Able to manage multiple projects at the same period of time. Good in Microsoft software (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). Able to work during non-office hours to support network incidents and restoration. Independent and capable of decision-making and problem-solving. Highly motivated and able to work independently under pressure.
