Job Description Product Manager, DC Power Engineering- Americas is responsible for providing product management leadership in the Americas region to drive growth and profitability of Vertiv's DC Power Product Line in Telecom and Datacenter verticals. The Product Manager will manage the DC Power product and service solutions to best serve the customers in the Americas region. Key activities include launching new products and services, managing the existing portfolio of products and services, and executing end-of-life for production and service. This role also requires regular collaboration and alignment with Americas Sales and Services, Americas Sales Operations, Americas Finance, and the Global Business Unit regarding orders, sales, pipeline, and other key financial metrics related to the product Line. The position will be based onsite at our Delaware, OH location. Responsibilities: Serve as Regional Lead applying engineering and business principles to initiate and monitor development of new product launches, life cycle management, and commercialization activities Identify and interpret market trends, customer technical requirements, and competitive technologies to inform and define roadmap Analyze and drive engineering and commercial activities to develop technically sound pricing strategies for the product line Collaborate cross-functionality with the Business Unit, Americas Finance, Sales, and Sales Ops to support pricing initiatives Ensure all technical documentation, customer-facing documentation and marketing collaterals/tools are available and aligned with product specifications Lead continuous improvement initiatives that deliver improved process efficiency by applying engineering methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis) Gather and analyze customer feedback and work with the Global Business Unit to refine product roadmap for the Americas region Develop technical and commercial KPIs to track post-launch performance of new products (sales, orders, quotes and pipeline) Support Strategic Planning efforts for the Americas Region by contributing engineering and commercial insights with the various functional and strategy teams Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or other related discipline. Electrical Engineering is preferred 5+ years relevant experience in product management, technical/product sales, business management Experience in Telecom and/or Datacenter DC Power solutions and related customers preferred Experience with engaging Sales and Channel partners in Americas including LATAM preferred Strong customer and business acumen and ability to act as the CEO for the product line Strong organizational skills with an ability to combine long-term and short-term goals by setting priorities Ability to quickly develop cross-functional relationships to achieve business objectives Technical expertise to translate stakeholder needs/pain points to solutions Language skills: fluent in English, written and verbal required. Spanish preferred but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet and other business applications
