Description The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fabricator to maintain our level of commitment to safety and customer service. You are directly responsible for being a dedicated hands-on professional who prioritizes safety, quality control, operational efficiency, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work in coordination with the shop supervisor and other senior management ensuring that all manufacturing equipment is fit and welded to the specifications of each job and meets outlined requirements. And our Master cheese makers create our hand-churned, small batch cheeses with the same commitment to "quality above all".What You BringExtensive knowledge in TIG/MIG welding and fabrication. Strong ability and in-depth knowledge of common welding processes, uses of jigs, fixtures and other template equipment, physical dexterity for welding and fabrication processes and blueprint interpretation.Competent inspection of weld joints, welding processes, and the ability to be proficient in most areas of general welding fabrication including:TIG, MIG, and STICK welding processesTrailer and Tractor Fabrication Sanitary weldsBridge portLath weldsDrill pressCNC weldingWelding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positionsOperating safety equipment and using safe work habits.Minimum Requirements Work Environment: Fast paced work environment in and around industrial machinery. Cold storage environment. Production rooms are kept at a constant 32 degrees (and below in certain areas). Ability to withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time. Noise level varies and at times and can be loud.Physical requirements:Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Capability to stand in one place for 80% of the shift (8+ hours per day)Capability to walk throughout department for 20% of the shift (8+ hours per day)Capability to lift to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis with reasonable accommodation. Requires the frequent use of both hands and armsCapability to bend, twist, and squat as needed throughout the shift (8+ hours per day)Must be able to work in a Safety Sensitive Position.Military Experience Welcome
