Corporate Paralegal

Key Responsibilities for the Corporate Paralegal include: Assist General Counsel and attorneys with daily legal operations, including managing compliance projects. Draft, review, and organize a variety of legal documents and contracts to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Conduct legal research to support regulatory requirements and business operations. Coordinate with internal teams to streamline legal processes and facilitate alignment on compliance matters. Prepare presentations, reports, and other documentation for senior stakeholders and compliance audits. Maintain organized records and manage secure storage of legal files and documents. Support ongoing project management efforts by tracking key deadlines and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Requirements for the Corporate Paralegal Role include: Prior experience in a legal or paralegal capacity, preferably at a Tier 1 or Tier 2 law firm in New York City. Strong academic credentials with a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Legal Studies, Political Science, Business). Demonstrated interest in pursuing law school or advancing within the legal field. Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents and contracts. Ability to conduct detailed legal research and familiarity with legal research tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across teams. Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. Ambitious, proactive mindset with a strong desire to grow in a legal environment. Ability to work on a hybrid schedule (3-4 days on-site per week at the New York office). Willingness to commit long-term to the role, with a two-year retention period for bonus eligibility.
