Position Title: AML Specialist 1Business Unit: ComplianceReports to: Varies Based on AssignmentPosition Overview:This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the corporation and its subsidiaries compliance with anti-money Laundering (AML) and anti-terrorist funding laws and applicable policies and procedures governing business practices. The incumbent conducts ongoing evaluating, measurement and reporting of the AML risks within all applicable affiliates.Primary Responsibilities:Duties will vary by employee and could include: Tracks, investigates and reports level 1 suspicious activities within the corporation, conducts level 1 high-risk customer reviews, evaluates and monitors compliance with the BSA, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act, requirements and continually monitors the efficacy of existing internal policies and procedures with reference to these requirements.Identifies currency transactions in excess of $10,000 and files CTRs accurately and within prescribed time frame while referring potential suspicious activity to Investigators. This includes updating identification information in the FNB core system.Provides program oversight by incorporating regulatory changes into existing corporation programs and reports any significant compliance risks to the AML Officer with the appropriate priority, advises employees on how to comply with anti-money laundering requirements, delivers anti-money laundering training to employees as needed and provides support during mergers and acquisitions.Depending on business needs, may provide day to day direction and supervisory oversight for various AML employees.Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by F.N.B.
