The

Financial Analyst

will assist the Director of Internal Audit, Mergers & Acquisitions Leader and CFO in various duties including but not limited to: Internal audit of operating units, mergers and acquisitions analysis & diligence and various other analysis as directed by the CFO. This position will have direct and daily interaction with multiple members of the Executive Team (CEO, CFO, VP of HR, Corporate Controller, etc.) Assist in the execution of internal audits across 50+ operating units Assist with M&A analysis and diligence Analysis as directed by CFO Review of compliance with financial policies Review unit operational practices and business processes assessing risks in these processes and practices and identifying opportunities for improvement Review and testing of transaction processing Assessment of revenue recognition practices including Cost of complete percentage to ensure accuracy of earned revenue and profit as reported Review and discuss findings with unit management Conduct subsequent reviews to ensure operating unit post audit action plans have been implemented As required, assist Corporate Accounting with external year-end audit requirements The position will interact with operating units, regional accounting, and corporate accounting. TRAVEL Domestic ~10 – 15% (as needed) Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 3 or more years’ of progressive industry related experience in accounting or auditing preferably in construction or project accounting Applied working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting procedures, and auditing standards Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience Solid communication and skills to adapt and effectively work with varying styles across multiple operating units to successfully complete the audit requirements Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities as necessary Ability to be self-motivated and directed, proactive and an effective team player Ability to interact effectively, professionally, and communicate with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike Tecta offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, etc. #LI-SC1 Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
