We're looking for a Senior Manager, FP&A (Hybrid) locatedin Chicago, United States. This role is eligible for a Hybrid (1 day/week in office) work arrangement.

The Opportunity:

The Senior Manager FP&A plays an integral role in RBA's Corporate FP&A team. This role will report to the Senior Director, FP&A, liaise closely with diverse stakeholders from business leader to C-level executives, and lead all aspects of our financial portfolio management including financial analysis, , enterprise forecast and budget consolidation processes, and preparation of executive leadership and Board-level materials highlighting financial performance.

The Senior Manager, FP&A will:
  • Lead timely and insightful financial analysis to support our strategic objectives.
  • Lead high quality variance analysis and financial commentary on the financial performance of RB Global.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the administration and coordination of our annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes, including financial related analysis, financial presentations and qualitative assessment of financial performance.
  • Liaise with internal clients (Business Units, Corporate functions) to determine and track key performance metrics, financial performance indicators & reporting requirements.
  • Provide Management with insightful financial analysis on organizational performance and coordinate monthly business reviews with HQ functional leaders.
  • Lead aspects of, and coordinate the Corporate QBR process including production of material and necessary analysis for business reviews.
  • Create "professionally polished" executive presentations which narrate the financial performance of the business for our C-Level executives as well as Board and Board Committees.
  • Participate and lead initiatives related to our overall finance transformation strategy.
  • Manage, coach and develop our Corporate FP&A analysts and team.
Here's what you bring:
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent; CPA or relevant master's degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of finance and accounting experience in Corporate Finance environment in a multi-business unit publicly traded company.
  • 3 - 5+ years of managerial experience, with a strong track record as a people manager and cross-functional leader.
  • Strong understanding of income statement, cash flow and balance sheet composition in a complex planning, forecasting and budgeting environment within a public company corporate FP&A capacity.
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders in a matrix environment and communicate (detailed to summary, and vice-versa) based on stakeholder requirements.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, including experience developing multi-year, multi-business financial models and forecasts; expert level skills in MS Excel are a must.
  • Experience in preparing / presenting quarterly presentations to C-Level executives and Board levels. Exhibits the art of narrating complex financial details through professional visualization and presentation skill sets.
  • Be flexible, and able to work collaboratively within the team, taking on new tasks as needed to achieve the goal of timely, accurate, and valuable financial analysis.
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks accordingly, and meeting the expectations of multiple stakeholders, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Oracle and Cognos TM1 experience or a comparable enterprise planning tool is preferred.
  • PowerPoint and visualization of financial data mastery strongly desired.
  • Candidate must exhibit a strong curiosity for the business to independently identify areas of opportunity and risk across our financial portfolio.
