POSITION OVERVIEW

One of the fastest growing and highly visible departments within GO is the Business Development team. Currently, the Business Development team is seeking a creative and highly motivated sales focused brand strategist to facilitate new partner brands across North America. This Sr. Business Development Specialist is responsible for Amazon business analysis for prospective partners, developing insights and recommendations and supporting the prospect onboarding process. To get there, we are looking for a talented, bright, and driven individual who detail oriented, can break down and solve complex problems, and have a strong will to get things done.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Research prospective brands, categories and business opportunities, measuring against GO's criteria to determine go forward path
Review prospective partner operational and retail performance and provide insights for improvement
Content audits
Full-funnel advertising evaluation and identification of opportunities
Presentation development support
Strategize and provide clear direction and vision on how to achieve both short term and long-term goals for your prospective clients, presenting components of findings and opportunities to prospective clients
Assist in new business-related research requests and development of content for new business opportunities (e.g. what capabilities to provide, etc.)
Set priorities and expectations for all prospective clients, participating in the communication to ensure clients move forward in the pitch process
Monitor your sales pipeline closely and provide insights regularly to Business Development lead
Assist in developing and presenting creative and solution-oriented strategies that are tailored to each prospective client
Own the administrative pieces of transitioning a new client from business development to the core business
Collaborate with cross-functional teams learning how each internal discipline and how each piece impacts the overall strategic plan
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop best in class strategies to land new clients

Requirements

Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in customer facing roles within sales, brand management or buying, specifically for Amazon
Preferred: Four-year college degree
Strong skills in MS Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint
An understanding of Amazon consumer tools across Seller, Vendor and Amazon Advertising portals
Highly organized and detail oriented
Demonstrated decision making, problem solving, analytical and negotiating skills
Experience working with Amazon and other ecommerce retailers
Strong ownership, bias for action and willingness to roll up your sleeves

Salary Description

$60,000 to $70,000 annually
