(Essential)

Plan and install measurement equipment for running and for upcoming engine development projects. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve measurement device issues on devices such as: emissions, instrumentation, Noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), combustion analysis and other testing equipment. Propose and implement upgrades of new measurement equipment technology to meet regulatory and testing requirements and to improve testing efficiency. Analyze test results to validate equipment functionality to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal criteria. Understand measurement devices’ calibration, quality control and calibration activities to meet regulatory and internal department requirements, including tracking and documentation. Establish an efficient cross-functional network with the corresponding departments from other Rolls-Royce testing facilities, vendors, and institutions. Provide necessary support to other departments such as: engineering, production, quality. Plan, implement and evaluate vibrational testing on development engines. Manage and communicate project status, schedule, and budget. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Keep a daily record of hours worked for budgeting and auditing purposes. Promote a compliance culture in R&D, and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct Perform special projects as required.
