Welcome to the Hearing and Speech Center of Florida, an 87 year old non for profit serving individuals with educational and specialized needs. We are one of 45 Hearing and Speech Centers in the nation and focus on our mission to serve in rehabilitation/habilitation.

We are a full service providers and offer our clients Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Educational and Behavior Therapy. We are also educational service providers and operate a School. We have a full practice for center based services and have community contracts throughout the county at various locations and have a school located near the main operations office. We are also owners of a Montessori School and work with local hospitals, schools, and nonprofit organizations.

We offer a supportive, professional team approach to serving our clients and support our team members to learn and progress within their work experiences.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Individual must have previous experience and comprehensive understanding of medical patient office procedures, inclusive of front end/back end processes, authorization management, scheduling teams/maximizing staff schedules, credentialing, policies, center staffing, and facilities operations.

Must have strong organization and people skills to oversee, manage, and multi-task as per centers needs.

Qualifications

-Degree in Management and or Health Care Administration /Leadership Administration or related field preferred.

-Understanding of Medical office protocols/needs-billing, authorizations/patient management

-SUPERB organization skills and outcome measure tracking

-Excellent skills in creating documents-word, excel, etc.

-Excellent speaking and writing abilities in English

-Ability to manage team members and monitor tasks completion in multiple departments

-Ability to communicate effectively with various directors make staffing predictions and ensure center is meeting all requirements and timelines.

-3+ years of experience in office/operations management and /or therapy center (speech-occupational-physical therapy) experience preferred.

-Bilingual Proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
