Job Description - HIM Specialist (240001KA)Job DescriptionHIM Specialist - ( 240001KA )DescriptionAssists Director of Health Information Management to maintain daily operations of the Health Information Management Department. Duties include making sure that medical charts and forms are properly identified and authenticated, inputting information into the computer system, working HPF Queues. Communicating with physicians and other health care professionals about diagnoses or other necessary patient information using computer programs to tabulate and analyze data audits. Maintains daily unbilled accounts/flag reports and assists charging departments to ensure proper documentation is present in the medical record. Manages transcription services ensures account corrections daily. Represents HIM Department in activities, such as morning huddle and other hospital functions in the absence of the Director. Communicates daily all day to day occurrences to the Director and carries out duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School DiplomaThree to five years progressively responsible HIM experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
