Leverage your deep technical expertise and problem solving capabilities to drive significant business impact and tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple database technologies, data architectures, and data consumers.Job responsibilitiesProvides direction and recommendations on data governance and data management procedures as well as the intricacies applicable to the acquisition, maintenance, validation, and utilization of dataGenerates advanced data models for one or more teams using firmwide toolingReview data modeling of other data engineers and technologists on data governance and management practicesDesigns and delivers trusted data collection, storage, access, and analytics data platform solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable wayHelp define database back-up, recovery, and archiving strategyAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on Oracle or comparable relational database concepts and 5+ years applied experience5+ years working experience data modeling relational or dimensional databasesWorking experience in data governance defining a business data dictionary and business metadataWorking experience with designing for performance in both relational and NoSQL databasesAdvanced understanding of database back-up, recovery, and archiving strategiesExperience presenting and delivering visual dataPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience with, Snowflake , Postgres and NoSQL databasesJPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
