This role is a 6 month c2h and onsite 5 days a week in Elmsford. This person needs experience working in higher education in a registrar department*** Description: • Experience working in a school registrar department. • Maintaining administrative tasks such as scheduling, calendaring, and overall support of District Leadership • Provides prompt, accurate, thorough, and courteous responses to all customer inquiries. Performs research as needed to resolve inquiries. • Ensures effective customer relations by responding accurately, timely and courteously to telephone, written, web, or walk-in inquiries. Accurately documents inquiries. • Coordinates with other departments to resolve problems. Responds to, research and/or assists with priority inquiries and special projects as required by management. • Provides feedback to management regarding customer problems, questions, and needs. Maintains accurate records on complaints and/or other customer comments and makes recommendations for changes to management. • Maintains basic knowledge of quality work instructions and company policies. Assists with process improvements through the recommendation of changes in procedures and techniques discovered during daily operations. Maintains all departmental productivity, quality, and timeliness standards. • Identifies and promptly reports and/or refers suspected fraudulent activities and system errors to the appropriate departments. • The incumbent is expected to exercise independent judgment in the performance of duties, and functions in a lead capacity when assigned to a project. • Supervision is not a responsibility of this class. Does related work as required. • Reviews and investigates user complaints, concerns, and application problems. • Discusses data processing requests, problems, and new requirements involving expansion of services. • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Skills: scheduling application, bilingual Top Skills Details: scheduling application,bilingual Additional Skills & Qualifications: • Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and either: o five (5) years of work experience in data processing operations and/or technical support or customer service related to data processing applications or o five (5) years of experience using an automated financial, human resources or student information system in a school district (such as: Finance Manager, Wincap, eSchool Data, eSchool Plus, Infinite Campus, School Tools, Power School or Office 365) to perform work functions on a daily basis Experience Level: Intermediate Level Benefits Info: Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
