Spero Health is seeking a Credits Specialist to join our awesome team in Brentwood, TN

This position is for a Credits Specialist who supports the mission of "Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships" in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment. The Credits Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Gathering pertinent information to be able to resolve difficult credit situations to assure timely follow-up
• Analyze all EOB insurance correspondence to determine and complete steps for resolving credits through appeal process within payer timely guidelines.
• Make calls or use payer portals for claim follow up on outstanding credit balances.
• Identify trends related to rates/coding and insurance changes and communicate effectively with supervisor and above.
• Follow up frequently and note all outstanding credit balances.

• High School diploma required

• 1 to 2 years of Revenue Operations experience preferred
