**Travel Opportunities**

As part of the team, you'll get to work on a team of TEMPEST engineers and SMEs to perform TEMPEST testing and provide TEMPEST engineering recommendations to help ensure the security of our nation's systems . You'll learn from TEMPEST SMEs to grow your knowledge and skills, as well as share your TEMPEST expertise with others

Willing to consider RF Engineers, or Electronics / Electrical Engineers in lieu of a Tempest engineer, with Poly.

Desired Skills:
3+ years of experience with TEMPEST testing, design, or engineering
TEMPEST certified technician (Certified TEMPEST Professional Level II)
TS/SCI with Poly preferred but can consider candidates that are clearable

Job Duties:
Set up Equipment under test (EUT) enclosure in accordance with Govt specs
Properly execute TEMPEST test methods and signal analysis
Record all test results and concerns
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve Emanation Security ( EMSEC ) vulnerabilities
Work with TEMPEST vendors
Perform Test set up ambient measurements
Capture and Analyze qualification test data and results and writing reports
Work with project teams to evaluate products with respect to NSITSSAM
Verify TEMPEST test requirements by the CTTA
Attend TEM with crypto device user / customer, CSCM and vendor
Provide testing of certified cryptographic equipment to discover vulnerabilities in secure systems
Perform TEMPEST testing of COTS equipment to discover the extent of vulnerabilities for countermeasure purposes
Validate IASRD is applied consistently throughout the IC

Education:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Qualifications:
Six (6) years' experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Two Years SIGINT experience
XML/XSD or Google Protocol Buffers; Google Remote Procedure Call (gRPC), ESB, CORBA or ICE; DSP and/or protocol processing in software; TDOA and FDOA; Software Defined Radio (SDR); REDHAWK; Agile Software Development; JIRA or Git

Certifications:
None required

Clearance Requirements:
TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph

Essential Functions:
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
