Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Marketing Director to lead our marketing team and oversee all marketing responsibilities related to our specialty liability lines as well as our GB product offerings, including technology, Waypoint, AI, GBCARE, and our RMIS platform, Luminos. The ideal candidate will have strong career background in strategic marketing, team leadership, and a deep understanding of the insurance, specialty liability, and risk management sectors.

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Gallagher Bassett's business goals and objectives for all product lines. Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and oversee marketing team members, ensuring high performance, professional development, and alignment with the company's strategic initiatives. Specialty Liability Marketing:

Be the Marketing team’s leader and key contact for our Specialty division. Build relationships with Specialty leadership, understand their strategies and goals, and work hand-in-hand to bring those strategies to life through external-facing marketing. Assist in campaign building, media/market visibility, conference and event activation, and thought leadership content. Product Marketing:

Oversee the marketing of Gallagher Bassett's technology solutions, AI-driven products, Luminos platform, and GBCARE solutions. Ensure these products are effectively positioned in the market and embedded in Risk Management and Carrier campaigns to maximize their value proposition. Use this external positioning to educate our internal teams on our product value propositions. Market Analysis:

Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis with support from the GCoE to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and product development. Brand Management:

Maintain and enhance the Gallagher Bassett brand across all marketing channels. Ensure brand consistency and integrity in all marketing communications and materials for GB Specialty solutions and all GB products. Campaign Development:

Design, implement, and handle multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, engagement, and adoption. Utilize digital marketing, content marketing, events, and other tactics to reach target audiences. Sales Enablement:

Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales tools, training programs, and marketing materials that support the sales process and drive revenue growth. Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product development, sales, and customer service teams, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts. Performance Measurement:

Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management. Budget Management:

Develop and handle assigned marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives.

About You

Required: Bachelor's degree in marketing communications or similar field and 7 years related experience. Highly Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the insurance, risk management, or technology sectors is highly desirable. Skills:

Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills Proven ability to lead and inspire a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Deep understanding of digital marketing and traditional marketing channels Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively Strong financial acumen and experience managing marketing budgets

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with AI, RMIS systems, and other technology-driven solutions in the insurance and risk management industry. Strong working knowledge of specialty products, including Professional & Executive Liability, Healthcare/Medical Malpractice Liability, Product Liability, Employment Practices Liability, and other specialty lines. #LI-JS1 #LI-Remote
