We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager. As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING MANAGER

Lead the Technical Team comprised of the engineering team and maintenance, setting the necessary priorities in support of the plant's needs.

Provide technical assistance to all manufacturing departments regarding the quality and/or performance of machinery, tooling, fixture, gauges, etc.

Serve as liaison between production and engineering departments by developing engineering change notices and process specifications pertaining to manufacturing processes and material specifications.

Responsible for analyzing, evaluation, and establishing the plant and work-station layouts to insure the most efficient operating conditions.

Develops and maintains work measurement analysis based on MYM, Most, Time Study, or Ease.

Recommends and justifies most efficient use of existing production equipment.

Provide new equipment justification based on labor and material savings. Responsible for the manufacturing process of new and existing products including ergonomic assessment, productivity improvements, manufacturing ability, and cost improvements.

Specify and recommend new equipment processes and tooling both during the engineering cycle and post design stages of implementation.

Perform any assembly operation including material handling and machining operation to establish accurate costing standards and to train and instruct hourly associates.

Monitor and make recommendations regarding improvements on equipment, machinery processes, etc.

Operate a personal computer to compile incentive standards, record storage, and project evaluation.

Create, maintain, interpret, and apply necessary documentation including product & process specifications, SPC control charting, work instructions/standard operating procedures and etc. to benchmark & improve process.

Strong Electrical troubleshooting and installation experience

Resolve process issues in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.

Develop & implement troubleshooting guides for equipment and process.

Review and approve work completed by vendors, contractors and appropriate team members as deemed appropriate.

Provide process support during equipment commissioning & start-up phases.

Lead and/or participate in OPEX, process and departmental initiatives-GEMBA, KAIZEN, process map, time studies, incident investigations & etc.

Develop & implement process standards and best practices.

Implement technology upgrades that result in improved processes.

Assists with equipment and process troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Improve uptime, cost savings, product yield quality and safety.

Investigate, discuss and solve complex problems with appropriate team members, sub-contractors, customers and suppliers.

Help further company culture of implementing innovative processes and OPEX initiatives; be a change agent for the business.

Manage projects and project timelines using project management tools, engineering principles and techniques.

Maintain, update, and oversee detailed engineering prints (specifically building and production line layout)
