Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that all office locations are adhering to Kelly Cable inventory policies, procedures and processes
  • Maintain inventory by identifying, stocking, receiving, reordering, and organizing materials
  • Utilize specialized reporting processes for record updating purposes
  • Reconcile any discrepancies between physical counts and system anomalies through auditing inventory shipments
  • Review all paperwork confirming that the correct pricing, quantity and materials were received
  • Operate forklift and other various pieces of equipment as needed
  • Interacts with internal personnel to resolve problems or answer questions
Success Factors:
  • Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs multiple times during a work shift
  • Ability to climb, dig, work in tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, walking, stooping, and kneeling
  • Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team with co-workers
  • Ability to pass motor vehicle, criminal background check, and comply with drug-free workplace policy
  • English usage sufficient to keep records, place orders, and prepare simple narrative reports
  • Willingness and ability to learn additional skills
Experience and Education:
  • 3 years of warehouse and inventory material handling experience
  • 2 years of construction experience
  • Proficient MS Office skills including inventory software
  • Ability to retrieve, analyze, and input data
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver's License is required within two weeks of employment.
  • Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
