Our client a large construction company with operations in the Tri- State area is seeking a Controller to join it's senior management team. This role will be a key part of the management team and will be leading the accounting and finance department.
Responsibilities will include:
- This role will oversee the entire accounting and finance department.
- This consists of AP AR Collections, payroll, HR, Bookkeeper.
- The role is very hands on. Will produce all financial statements.
- Provide all financial reporting for senior management.
- Manage banking and insurance relationships.
- Manage lines of credit and bank covenants.
- Understanding of certified payroll (Union)
- Spearhead acquisitions, financial models, etc.
- Understanding of municipal construction projects
- CPA - Public background a plus but not required
- 10+ years accounting experience
- Construction experience
