Responsibilities

•Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
•Actively engage in pre-shift and department meetings to get a thorough knowledge of all goods, services, and facility operations
•Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests
•Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
•Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations

Qualifications

•Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and consent to a background check
•Must have the availability to work a mixture of breakfast and dinner shifts
•This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
•Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
•Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
•We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
•Outstanding time management and organizational skills
