We are currently searching for a talented Civil Engineer I to join and grow with our Civil team in St. Paul, Minnesota

This Opportunity:
  • Supporting members of our Civil Engineering teams
  • Use of AutoCAD Civil 3D for analysis and design of roadways, trails, sidewalks, water main, sanitary and storm sewer systems and site improvements
  • Use of Microsoft Excel for development of project bid item tables, quantities and cost opinions
  • Prepare construction plans and specifications, site plans, grading and drainage plans, studies and reports for a wide range of public and private infrastructure systems
  • The position may serve as a Field Engineer or assist survey crews during construction of various projects
  • Manage work activities and team responsibilities and report to supervisor and team members on status of project tasks
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or scheduled to graduate in December 2024)
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.
  • Ability to report into the St. Paul, MN office and/or project sites during construction season
  • Must have successfully completed or scheduled to complete the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in the next six (6) months
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience or training with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Zero (0) to Four (4) years of experience in the Civil Engineering field
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous Civil Engineering or construction experience, including internships
  • Ability to read, comprehend and interpret engineering plans and topographic maps
