Overview
Element has an opportunity for an

EMI Engineer

at our Boxborough, MA lab, whose primary responsibility is to oversee EMI test programs. Including but not limited to, training of technicians, writing and editing reports, and assisting customers.

Responsibilities

Test Preparation - Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare for test programs

Oversee the Performance of Testing - Monitor technicians for complying per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent data

Data Processing - After test completion, verify, and review pertinent data produced by the testing technician.

Finalize data and send to publications/program manager

Other - Perform other duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications

BS in Electrical/Electronics Preferred and/or a minimum of 5 years experience in EMI/EMC testing

Ability to complete complex technical and mechanical procedures without supervision

Ability to assist with troubleshooting, test interpretation, and test result analysis

Ability to understand AC/DC circuits

Be comfortable with client interaction

Possess a comprehensive understanding of DMM, Oscope, power supplies;

Possess working knowledge of basic safety practices

Possess basic mechanical and MS Office skills
