Position Summary

Provide IT technical sales support to Sales and Marketing in support of new business opportunities that directly contribute to organization revenue growth objectives. The Cyber Security Project Manager is directly responsible for managing and leading IT Security discussions with potential and existing bioMérieux customers with the goal to provide detailed networking configurations and security protocols and measures that are available with bioMérieux products.

Primary Duties

Establish and manage critical IT pre-sales calls to review potential customers IT Security and Networking requirements as well as to present available bioMérieux options to meet customers’ IT needs.

Understand the relationship and dependencies of bioMérieux core products to facilitate and lead security related discussions and solutions for operations and business needs.

Provide feedback to local customer support, Global Customer Support, and Level 3 development support on market IT Security needs for future product security patches.

Manage DOD/VA and/or product implementation projects within established scope, schedule, and budget while meeting and exceeding PM project management standards.

Support project management team members to ensure success of projects while maintaining customer service focus.

Manage and oversee INFOSEC Risk Assessment Program in support of new and existing business relationships ensuring risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.

Act as customer service liaison to product security R&D teams to manage and drive product cyber security communications within the customer service organization and bioMérieux business partners.

Lead and drive Customer Service Cyber-Security Support team response, providing customers with project and remediation plan of bioMérieux impacted systems during cyber-security response.

Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Training and Education

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology/ Systems, a related technical field, and/or equivalent work experience.

CompTIA Security + certification required, or certification achieved within 12 months of hire.

Project Management certification is preferred or a minimum of 3-5 years previous experience managing IT related projects.

Experience

3-5 years experience managing cyber security related projects.

Project Management certification is preferred or a minimum of 3-5 years previous experience managing IT related projects.

3-5 years experience in analyzing customers' business needs and Laboratory product/system integration objectives to coordinate and manage the delivery of IT solutions to meet customers' needs

is preferred.

3-5 years experience in following, maintaining, and improving the implementation methodology.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must be fluent in English with excellent communication, analytical, facilitation and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to work independently, effectively multitask to meet deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in project management software tools.

Exhibit good interpersonal and diplomacy skills, excellent verbal, and written capabilities through previous experiences such as teaching, sales, or management.

Exhibit good decision-making ability, including problem resolution.

Employs the expertise of others and provides expertise in a team environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) products
