This opportunity seeks a skilled Imaging and Cath Lab Technician with specialized experience in Electrophysiology (EP) procedures. The position is based in Waterford, MI, offering a 13-week contract assignment. The role requires a highly capable professional to support a busy Cath/EP Lab, performing a full range of cardiac catheterizations, peripheral vascular interventions, structural heart procedures, and EP studies. Location Situated in Waterford, MI, this assignment places you in a community known for its friendly neighborhoods, beautiful lakes, and easy access to outdoor activities. Waterford offers a pleasant mix of suburban comfort with convenient proximity to major metropolitan areas, providing an excellent balance of work and lifestyle. Schedule Full-time, weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. One variable weekday off each week On-call required: one weekend per month (5 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Monday) Four weeknights per month (5 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. the next day) No weekend work outside of on-call responsibilities Qualifications and Experience Minimum 12 years experience in a cath/EP lab setting Ability to scrub for all cardiac caths, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and EP procedures Knowledge of Merge Hemo documentation system preferred Preferably RCIS or RCES certification; ARRT licensure acceptable with cath lab scrub experience ACLS and BLS certifications required Strong proficiency as a scrub tech across all procedures Responsibilities Support and scrub during complex EP and cath procedures Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Maintain accurate procedural documentation Ensure adherence to safety and sterile techniques This contract role is perfect for a motivated candidate who thrives in fast-paced, specialized cardiovascular labs and values professional growth across multiple interventional modalities.
